Honestly, I could eat cold cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love the stuff. As long as I can remember we always had cold cereal in my house. I would have to say the my favorite cereal is Captain Crunch, and don't forget the crunch berries too. Those are great. My mom always knew that I loved the really sugary cereal and I swear every time she bought cereal she would always throw in a box of shredded wheat or some gross cereal like that. Nobody ever ate those in my house but eventually you would get stuck eating it. The thing is, those random boxes of healthy cereal always added up in the cupboard. You would just open it and there would be like 8 boxes of the shunned cereal; raisin bran, grape nuts, shredded wheat, rice crispies, basically nothing with sugar. I guess you could say I was addicted to sugar as a kid. Over the years as I, being the only one, would eat those cereals, I began to actually like them. They really aren't that bad. Maybe my body just wants to be healthier. I don't really know. But what I do know is that I love almost all cold cereals.

"One word...Ambrosia"

Sweets are all around us. Sometimes we would do anything just for that one bite of chocolate. I know that when I crave sweets and candy, the first thing my mind thinks of are Reese's peanut butter cups. For me, one word describes Reese's....ambrosia. I love that mouth watering sensation from biting into a peanut butter cup and that amazing peanut butter flavor which feels so smooth on your tongue. Reese's are my favorite candy. Ever since I was a little kid every Christmas, Easter, birthday, any special occasion, I would get these peanut butter cups. I swear, it has to be genetic. As long as I can remember my dad always snacked on Reese's. The best times were when we were watching a great movie and eating a bag of Reese's. That's right, we had to get the bags because the little two and four packs were just not enough. I think they put something in the peanut butter because I'm addicted.

As I woke up this morning I was thinking about what to write my blog on. Also, for some random reason, I was craving the good old-fashioned oatmeal. You might say, what a weird craving. I know it's a little weird since many people don't like oatmeal but I just wanted a bowl right then and there. As long as I can remember my mom used to make oatmeal for my brothers and sister everyday before school. I remember concentrating my milk with brown sugar until I had a dark brown milk and then gobbling it all down. Now that I think about it, I was almost excited every morning to go and eat my oatmeal. Along with regular oatmeal I also enjoyed the microwavable packets too. Those were almost better. I became so used to eating the packets that I could just pour the packet into a bowl of milk and eat it without even heating it up. I don't know why, but I did. I haven't really been able to eat my brown soup anymore now that I'm in college, along with the fact that I don't have my wonderful mother there to cook me any, but every now and then I still get that same craving that I can remember as a kid.

Even though I love my computer and I'm on it everyday, ironically, I have never created a blog. I guess I could start by telling you about myself. I really love music. I play piano, violin, and guitar here and there. I was in a band once, it was pretty sweet but it kind of vanished. It was fun while it lasted though. I really love the snow too. I try to snowboard almost every weekend but now that I'm going to school I really haven't had the chance to go that much. I also love to snowmobile. Probably the best place to snowmobile would have to be Island Park in Idaho. It is probably the most beautiful place in the world in the winter. Along with everyone else, I too, love food. I would have to say that Italian is the best with runner up being Mexican. I'm really excited to get to know everyone in our class this semester. I think it is going to be really fun. Well, have a great day and I'll get back to blogging later.
